“Cas…..” She mumbles tears filling her eyes. She wonders if he ever told Dean how he felt. She wonders where he is. Suddenly she is ridden with guilt. What if something horrible happened? What if it was her fault? Because she wouldn’t let Cas see little Deanna. All she wanted was to know if he was okay….
Sam looked at Kyra. She was curled into a tight ball, her arms wrapped around her knees and she was rocking back and forth. She wasn’t able to answer this. ”The leviathans are creatures that Dean and us have been hunting for awhile now. They’re from Purgatory. Cas… He opened the door to it a long time ago… That’s why Dean’s been so pissy with him. He let ‘em out.” Sam looked up at Dannielle.
“Cas,” Krya choked out. ”Gotta save Cas.” She lowered her head and started crying again. Sam rubbed her on the arm.
“Why the FUCK was I not told this?!” Dannielle yelled and as soon Katie mumbled about Cas Deanna started to cry.
“Is my daddy okay?” She asked, her tear-filled eyes set on Sam. Dannielle wiped her face with both hands trying to hold back her own feels.
Sam met the little girl’s eyes and his heart broke. ”I don’t know, sweetie, but we’re gonna find out.” Sam helped Krya up off the floor and sat her down on one of the chairs in Dannielle’s living room before taking her phone and redialing the last number.
“I—I’m s-s-sorry, D-D-Danni.” she chocked out. ”I-I s-should have s-s-said s-something. C-C-Cas told me n-n-not to because h-he wanted t-to start over with y-you. A cle-ean slate.”
Before Dannielle could even do anything, Deanna jumped up onto Kyras lap, hugging her. “It will be right Kyyy” She said quietly as Dannielle started to cty herself.
Krya felt a pair of small arms around her. She held Deanna close and cried onto her shoulder. ”I hope you’re right,” she whispered before looking up at Dannielle. ”Can you forgive me? Can you forgive Cas, too, for not saying anything?”
Dannielle nodded. “Of course…. You’re like my sister and Cas… I love him. I’ve explained this. But I do. I want him to be safe….” Deanna nodded as if in agreement even though she hadn’t even met him yet.
Sam cursed and threw the phone down. ”I can’t get through.” he said, turning his attention back to Kyra, who was crying even harder. ”Ky, it’s okay. Cas is gonna be okay.” He kissed her on the forehead and smiled. ”Danni, how opposed would you be to a little road trip?”
Dannielle bit her lip and looked down at Kyra. “Do you wanna meet Daddy?” She asked quietly. Deanna nodded eagerly. Danni sighed. “I guess not very”

Sam scrunched his eyebrows up. ”Well, considering that Cas is her dad and he’s an angel and all…. There was bound to be some freaky genetics going on there.” He shot her a small smile. “You know, uh… Dean… He’s been… he’s been pretty broken up about everything that happened… He misses you.”
Dannielle avoided looking at Sam. She wondered how things had gotten to this point. “Yeah…. well…. He’s the one that ended it….” She muttered feeling small. Dannielle didn’t really know what to say to this.
Sam’s eyebrows scrunched up. ”I know. I was there, remember? He just wanted me to tell you that.” He grimaced at her. ”If it makes things any better, I’m on your side.”
She felt tears rising. “I try to call him, but he never answers. What am I supposed to do? Track him down? If he misses me he can talk to me himself…” Dannielle muttered but looked up at Sam. “What do you mean you’re on my side?”
“He doesn’t know what to say…” Sam answered. ”He’s worried you’re gonna scream at him. He hates what he did…” He used the power of his puppy eyes on her. ”About the break up. Usually people take sides in their friends’ break ups… I’m on yours.”
“Well… you can tell him I won’t scream… but I won’t promise to be nice….” Dannielle said swallowing her sobs. Deanna didn’t need to see her crying. “Thanks for that Sam….”
Sam shot her another hurt puppy dog look before crossing the room and hugging her. ”I’m sorry.”
((I gotta go to bed, dude.))
Dannielle accepted the hug by trying to wrap her arms around Sam. “Its not your fault, Sammy… All mine…”
Sam held her at arms length. ”No it’s not. There was fault on both sides. It takes two to tango.” He shook his head at her. ”You can’t blame yourself for everything that went wrong in that relationship. It—”
“Sam, Dannielle,” Kyra called from the doorway. She had tears in her eyes. ”It’s Cas. He’s in trouble.”
“Yes I can, Sam!” Dannielle started to protest but Kyra came in and interrupted. “What… what’s going on with Cas?” And at that moment, Deanna ran in at the mention of her father. “Dad?”
Kyra just shook her head and fell to her knees on the ground, shaking violently with sobs. ”He’s— Leviathans— Dean— Need to—” and everything became incoherent after that. She wrapped her arms tightly around her midsection, feeling that she would fall apart if she didn’t.
Sam all but ran over to her. He wrapped a protective arm around her shoulders and pulled her in close. He glanced up at Dannielle. ”What should we do?”
Seeing that Deanna was on the verge of tears herself, Dannielle picked her up and held her close. She didn’t know what they were talking about. She had no idea! “What… what are you talking about? What are Leviathans?” She asked confused and worried.
